Some of the buildings are also connected via underground passageways. Most students live off-campus. There are numerous options within a short walk or drive to campus. The Fisher Office of Career Management provides many ways for students to develop professionally during their time at the school.

Located in Gerlach Hall, one-on-one attention is provided from day 1. Career Foundation Seminars, which include high-level executives from major companies, provide students with overviews of industry opportunities. On-campus recruiting runs from September to December in the fall, and January through April in the spring. The Office of Career Management also hosts an annual career fair in September, as well as an internship and job fair in January.

Fisher students also have access to career fairs held across Ohio State University. Unlike for most b-schools, where financial services and consulting tend to be the clear-cut top choices, graduates of The Ohio State Fisher fanned out across several industries. Only two percentage points separate the top four industry choices for graduates. The average GPA was 3. Upon matriculation at The Ohio State Fisher, students averaged 28 years in age with roughly five years of full-time work experience.

Ohio State Fisher conducts admissions on a rolling basis, with a strong preference that applications are submitted by April 15th. Applications submitted after that date are only considered if there is room left in the program. Given the availability of merit-based scholarships, applicants are encouraged to apply early. The application requirements for Ohio State Fisher include: Interviews are required and offered by invitation only. In-person interviews are available on campus or at a hub location if a Fisher representative is available.

Candidates who are not able to make it to campus have the option of scheduling a live, web-based interview.

Graduate assistantships can also be a source of help with tuition and other expenses. The adcom may also nominate selected candidates for Fisher Fellows, University Fellowships or Graduate Enrichment Fellowships to aid in the cost of attendance. The median age of the recently admitted applicants is 27 years old. Approximately one third are from overseas, one in three are women, and one in seven is an underrepresented domestic minority. The Working Professionals class profile closely resembles the full-time profile with students having on average two additional years of professional experience.

The New Specialized Masters in Business Analytics SMB-A at Ohio State's Fisher College of Business is a month program that equips students with an understanding of the science of data analytics and its implication for business innovation, productivity and growth.

This visually links the college to the larger OSU campus. The organization of undergraduate buildings, graduate study, and administration cluster around a traditional campus green that encourages social mixing of different student bodies and faculty. Fisher's undergraduate and graduate-level students have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of student-run organizations.

Fisher Serves is an organization that engages in community service activities such as charity fund raising activities and uses its members skills to offer pro-bono consulting to local businesses or serve on the board of non-profit organizations.

The Fisher Citizenship Program provides an outlet for first-year and transfer student engagement in the college. Buckeye Capital Investors is an investment club focused on educating members on the financial markets and how to actively invest and manage a portfolio.

The American Accounting Association 's Hall of Fame was established at Fisher in to honor those who in some way distinguished themselves in the field. An international board of accountants nominate and select new members annually to add to the 78 inducted members. Current Ohio State University faculty are prohibited from nomination. A significant number of students in each entering class receives some form of merit-based funding.

In addition to Fisher merit-based funding, there are also financial aid sources available through the university.

Students have numerous opportunities to meet corporate executives and to network with Fisher's alumni base of more than 60, world-wide, many of whom are renowned business leaders. With more than companies coming to campus to recruit, the Office of Career Services actively partners with students. Students have access to a career advisor and coach, trained and ready to support students in their job search.
